Review all project deliverables prior to submission to client
Monitor the progress of the team, evaluate team performance, and provide timely, effective feedback to the team Work with studio leadership to assign and balance resources Review internal project accounting documents and process draft project billing and review with studio leadership project profitability, collections and backlog projections Use firm project management tools for initiation, planning, billings, collections, and labor trackingĬreate internal project work plans, manage and delegate team tasks, stay on top of progress and adjust as required to fit changing deadlines Maintain communications and positive relationships with the client, consultants and team members Identifying client's project goals, objectives and quality expectations, and communicate this information to the project team The Project Manager also serves as the prime point of communication between clients and Workstead. The Project Manager is responsible for maintaining and monitoring project profitability and schedule adherence, and coordinating and managing project communications, contracts, budgets and schedules. Working with and under the direction of a Managing Director and Creative Director, this individual will be responsible for leading large, complex projects with the clear goal of providing the highest possible quality of service, client satisfaction, and design. A transition from contract to a full-time position will be evaluated based on performance and team fit. The contract period, slated for November through March is structured to cover for maternity leave. Workstead, an award-winning, multidisciplinary design firm, has an opening in our Interiors Studio for a seasoned Project Manager with a strong design background to join our Brooklyn Studio on a contract basis.
