My friend has a new one and she was able to do the stitching with the new download. Have you used the Action Director that came with the camcorder. The videos are shot with a second-generation Samsung 360 camera, and I know the videos are shot correctly in a valid format because they are playable. I've got the latest version of the software and the latest update patch (as of October 2017). This problem has been discussed all over the Internet, but there are no real answers anywhere. Only pixelated noise and sometimes a blob. Sometimes the lanes are wavy (like a sine wave) and other times they are like a perpendicular X and Y graph. Using Samsung Gear ActionDirector Version 1., all I ever get when I attempt to stitch 360 videos is a black backgound and two intersecting lines with a blob or pixelated garbage in the middle. Solved by 16:21 I can't find CyberLink forum support for Gear 360 ActionDirector. Note: The information provided is for devices sold in Canada. The software can be activated with either the original Gear 360 or the 2017 Gear 360’s serial number. The new software can work with both the original and the new Gear 360. Now I need to go back and find my others to stitch together, now that I finally have something in VR that plays them properly.In case you missed it, the link to the new Action Director software is here. And totality during the 2017 solar eclipse (that one plays back rather fuzzily, but it's kind of wild to see it get dark at 2pm in 360. A bit quease inducing, since several of them I shot on a high speed zips up and down and around a circular track ride at the state fair several years ago, had never actually SEEN it in 360 like VD showed it before (had no idea fiance was holding on for dear life looking like he was going to toss his cookies any second! 😄).

I recently found my folder of Samsung Gear 360 videos that I stitched together with Action Director sometime back, put a shortcut to the folder on my PC desktop, and somehow the last time I launched Virtual Desktop, it found them and had them listed under the videos tab and I was able to play them in all their full 360 video goodness.
